e-Tender Solutions Limited is a company specialising in the development of online tendering facilities for use in a variety of industry sectors. We develop tendering facilities for both Business to Consumer (B2C), and Business to Business (B2B) markets.

In August 2009 the company launched www.e-Tender.ie, an online tendering facility for the Irish Construction industry. The site currently has 1,700 registered users including companies wishing to apply for tenders, and users who wish to post tenders (mainly architects, quantity surveyors, home owners). The e-Tender.ie platform allows users to post detailed tenders for 98 products and services in the construction industry. It is a fully managed online service.

The platform facilitates a range of processes required in the tendering process, from allowing users to post category specific tenders, to set tender deadlines: It allows companies to apply for tenders (paying the application fee online), allows all users to send and receive queries regarding the tender, allows companies to upload quotations to the buyers userspace, allows buyers to accept or reject tenders; on top of a range of further functionality options.

The site is evolving constantly with many new developments planned. The platform currently facilities open tendering only and a closed and private tendering facility is being launched soon. Another key site enhancement is the introduction of category specific profile pages for suppliers. These developments are key milestones for the tendering concept to be a useful service in a wide range of industry sectors.

e-Tender Solutions is an active member of CITA (Construction Industry Technology Alliance, www.cita.ie). CITA is an industry association aimed at promoting and developing the use of IT in the construction industry. The group aims to improve efficiencies and quality of work in the construction industry. e-Tender Solutions also has strategic relationships with a number of industry organisations within the construction industry.
